Please note there may still be light penetration around the edges of the shade, if you’re fitting   within a recess.We would recommend measuring water wall ,and then we will down to take1/8'' off that, so the edges of the shade don’t rub against the walls or weather, you just give us the water wall measurement. You will have a smallgap either side which will ensure as I said the fabric doesn’t rub on  the walls but it light will penetrate through that very small gap and if you go wall-to-wall. It will reduce the light penetration down the  side but the fabric may just rub on the side walls so it’s just down to personal preference .

When our windowns are relatively high, our hands can not reach, we can use our push rod to help us lift the Roman Shade, you can hook the handle under the Roman Shade to push up or down, you can also adjust the length of the rod according to the height of the window, so that you can easily use, enjoy the sun and air.
